The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was established in the year 2007 and Bachelor Engineering degree course for 4 years was started under affiliation from Rajeev Gandhi Proudhyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. In view of over whelming response from students and outstanding results achieved Management introduced M. Tech degree courses in Embedded system & VLSI Design in the year 2011. This programme designed in such a manner that it gives adequate emphasis on Electronics fields & communication technology. In tune with above objective, the syllabus includes core courses like Analog and Digital Communication, Digital Signal Processing, Microprocessor and microcontroller, Electronics Devices & Linear Integrated Circuits etc. Thus the content of syllabus gives a balanced & holistic coverage of theory & practice of knowledge. The core program is supplemented and further reinforced by a well chosen set of elective courses enabling the students to specialize either in hardware & software aspect of Engineering. Electronics & Communication Engineering course offers ample opportunities for employment in Electronics & Software field. Because of best teaching facilities available in the department, a good number of students fetch excellent placement in globally renowned companies.

PO-1: Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals to solve the problem of Electronics and Communication field.
PO-2: Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and electronics and communication engineering.
PO-3: Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex problem related to Electronics and Communication Engineering system, component, or process to meet desired needs within the realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, Manufacturability and sustainability.
PO-4: Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
PO-5: Modern tool usage: Use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
PO-6: The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional Electronics and Communication engineering practice.
PO-7: Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
PO-8: Ethics: The broad education necessary to understand ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

PSO-1:Technical Skills: An ability to understand the basic concepts in Electronics & Communication Engineering and apply them to various areas, like communication, networking, signal processing, embedded systems and semiconductor technology with specific modules and systems.
PSO-2: Problem-Solving Skills: An ability to solve complex Electronics and communication Engineering problems, using latest hardware and software tools, along with analytical skills to arrive cost effective and appropriate solutions.
PSO-3: Innovation: Idea and basic knowledge about the interdisciplinary areas related to Electronics and Communication Engineering knowledge and technical skill for doing higher studies and research work to fill the gaps.
